According to this article almost all of JRun development staff has been let go at Macromedia. It seems everyone looking for a low cost solution is mirating to Jboss if they need features beyond the maintenance version of JRun.

Makes you wonder what Aapcche.org plans to do being fully behind both in Marketing on J2ee adn an actual code base with Geronimo.
