After waxing lyrical about the Midnight Sun in Finland, it's now time to move on to Fall in New England: I'll be speaking at the Software Development Best Practices conference in Boston. This is a trip I enjoy more than most: the level of speakers and attendees seems a bit higher than most events. I'm particularly looking forward to Tom DeMarco's keynote: his Peopleware book is a classic, well worth its 5-star rating on Amazon.
My talk is on Wednesday 13th, 8:30-10am: Moving from Coding to Model-Driven Development. It's somewhat broader than normal, looking at all the different ways of doing MDD: MDA and Software Factories as well as DSM. I'll also be doing stand duty at booth 211, where you can pop in to get a first look at MetaEdit+ 4.5.
If any of my esteemed readers (i.e. either of you!) is thinking of buying the full VIP pass (conference and all tutorials), drop me a line and I'll send you a code for a substantial discount.
Hope to see you in Boston!
