Fortunately, I did not yet have to migrate any existing applications from the old ASP into the new and modern ASP.NET world ... but Microsoft tries to make developers' life a bit easier with an upcoming ASP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant.
Check out the starting Alpha program here: ASP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant - Getting Started and download the bits from the download page. Questions and feedback are always welcome in the forums.

I did not have any time to take a look at it, but we should not expect any magic wonders from wizards ... as always.

The ASP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant is designed to help you convert ASP pages and applications to ASP.NET. It does not make the conversion process completely automatic, but it will speed up your project by automating some of the steps required for migration.
