A silence falls across the room as I realize that Joel has written something I disagree with entirely. In fact, it's so far off base, that I wonder if he's ever really understood exceptions in the first place. Comparing them to gotos is a surface comparison, not the deep and intellectual and well-reasoned one I would've expected.
