Feed Description: A technology blog with a focus on the .NET framework, the Visual Studio .NET tools and the Windows server platform with of course the normal weblog-noise on what's happening in the industry and reviews of the latest geeky gadgets.
The extreme heat really got me this time. It caused my main system's hard disks
to go berserk, make awful noises and obviously access my data randomly, causing Windows
to blue-screen on me several times. After cooling down, the disks were back to normal,
but my poor Windows installation was beyond repair.
This meant it was time for a re-install. It took me >1 day to get everything back
to work, but I am now happily running Windows Server 2003 on my main laptop.
