If an an application has cause your iPod touch to stop responding then you will need to restart your device. You may also want to restart the device if it has running for a long time, rebooting it can make it run faster again. Here's how:
1. While the device is on, press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button until you see a red slider appears.
2. Use your finger and slide the slider to the right to turn it off.
3. Now turn it back on by pressing the Sleep/Wake button until you see an Apple logo appears.
Peferming the above steps should fix many of your problems.
