Find out the modem firmware version on the iPad so that you know what version is running on your device. When you are connecting to a Wi-Fi network and if your device is having an issue with the connection then its worth to find out if you have the latest version of the firmware. If not you can try to download the latest one. Here's how:

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Tap on Settings.

3. Then select General.

4. Then select About.

5. From the About screen you can find out about modem firmware version.
