I finally remembered to revisit one of my old SourceForge projects (spreadsheet) that I moved over to RubyForge a while ago. Occasionally I get emails from folks who are downloading the old SF files instead of the newer ones on RF, so I decided I should hide or remove those files.
There's only one problem - I couldn't figure out how to do it. I kid you not, I spent 15 minutes fucking around with the various menus and clicking everywhere trying to figure how to get to the damn option that lets you hide a release. On RF, it's just Files -> Admin. It *used* to be that as well on SF, but they were so busy obsessing over that fucking obnoxious Ajaxy menu shit that they forgot to be *useful*. I gave up. Pathetic.
I was thinking of starting a new project over there, but not now. I didn't see much in the way of alternatives that I really liked, either. Clearly we need something written in Rails. ;)
