Friends, I think we all need to take note of the Django Book. Their framework’s definitive manual is set to be free and redistributable, with interleaved comments throughout, a feat which illustrates Django’s very strengths right there. Right there!

The URL (http://www.djangobook.com/en/beta/) indicates that they are equipped to handle translations and versioning. This isn’t innovative publishing. This is innovative literature. How did we let our free docs dwindle so? We care, right?
