At this Tuesday's gaming session, I tried two new games. The first was a couple quick games of "Category 5" (aka 6 Nimmt!). It's a good, fun, quick card game.
Verdict: Good filler while you're waiting for more people to arrive. Would play again.
The second game was an old Avalon Hill classic called War at Sea. It's not much in terms of a historical recreation (the Graf Zeppelin makes an appearance, for example) and it's dice heavy, but it's still alright. It's a little long for a game with not that much meat to it, though.
Verdict: Good, so long as you don't care much for realism. Would play again, but only by request.
