So a couple of days ago, due to an extended meeting, I missed my evening cab. (Actually, I called the driver, told him to wait for a few more minutes; but some things just have to happen: he thought I told him to please leave without me.) Anyway, what happened was kinda good: I had been wanting to start gymming but I kept procrastinating; now I finally started. Boy, loosening up after so long felt so damn good. It’s not all that easy, though, I tell ya. Only two days of gymming, and my body aches.

Anyway, did I tell you that I’m doing this, in part, in preparation for the Bangalore International Marathon? I’m doing the Celebration Run—seven kilometers. Man, running is not easy. Five minutes of jogging (in the gym), and I felt like I had run a few miles. Maybe I’ll complete the marathon with some of those running the full marathon, but that’s okay. What I decided was that since part of the run is on MG road, maybe when I get tired I can go have some beer.
