That’s right. This kid in college sold me his used 17” Powerbook G4 (500mhz) for just over $200. I needed a machine to test on as testing over VNC to my friends iMac was getting old.

It has a white line problem on the screen.. it’s not that annoying to deal with and it hooks up to my 21” Trinitron just fine. :-) Along with the wireless and DVD… not a bad deal.

I don’t expect to make “the switch” any time soon to doing full-time development on it..but I expect that it could come in handy should this potential project follow through. (more details on that in a day or so)

$200+ so I can test in IE 5.2 and Safari. what-a-deal!
