Feed Description: My reflections on programming with Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL... and learning how to run a business...
My friend who is going to be jumping into Ruby on Rails with me is working on a project at his current .NET job and I sent him a bunch of information about ActiveRecord and Martin Fowler.
In my google searches, I found this:
Castle on Rails, which aims to build Rails on .NET. Not something that I would want to do myself.. but in his corporate environment, where they only use things that are of “enterprise” level… maybe he can start to get a feel for the Rails way and it’ll be easier to migrate him to the RoR way. :-)
Last I heard, he was looking through the source code for Castle to see how they did X,Y,Z and comparing it to how he and his team mates discussed what they he was going to do…. fun stuff.
