The last days were very funny. It's not new (at least for some people)
that I left X3ng and I started to work in my house. I'm used to work
in my bedroom, looking to street in front of my house. The funny part
is my mother's pet. It's a young parrot that stays near my window and
started to talk during this week. I'm not sure if I can say that
it's really talk, because the parrot only likes to pretend my pet, a
dog. Imagine... during my programming tasks I have a green flying
dog on my side. It is, at least, strange...
Inspite of the "dogs", I started to negotiate a consulting work
related to workflow and legacy systems integration. I have a crazy,
but interesting, project in my mind. I'm thinking in integrate
diferent tecnologies using open standards, like SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and
XSLT. I will publish some articles about it ASAP.
To finish the week, I worked a lot in a project with Andy McKay. I did
a Plone 2 migration and some hacks on PloneCollectorNG from Andreas
Jung. It was a good experience... but I had to sleep almost all the
saturday. The time zone (6 hours of diference) is killing
me. Weelll... this live of "international consultant" is not easy, but
It's cool.
