I'm glad to announce the SweetReader project at SourceForge. It will be a RSS reader written in Java, using, primarily, the SWT toolkit. Daniel will be porting it to Swing, so you can expect a version for Linux, while I try to discover how to embed a browser in the Linux version of SWT.
Also, Caio Novaes Filipini joined the team to help us release the first version ASAP. :)

I'm making some tests (and trying to learn) with Prevayler as the data persistence engine for SweetReader. Though Informa comes with a nice pack of classes for data persistance either with Castor or Hibernate, I'm taking Carlos' suggestion and giving Prevayler a try. He can expect a lot of questions from me. :)
Niko Schmuck, admin of Informa project, proposed some kind of partnership between SweetReader and Informa. Great! :)

The project page can be found here.
