CIO magazine has an interesting article on one company's success with outsourcing; I've posted some excerpts over on wunderkammer.org/links.

It's a good article because it fully embraces the perspective of the CIO who just wants to/has to save money. As a programmer, I usually get nothing but the opposite perspective about outsourcing: understandably so, as "outsourcing" to an American programmer translates 1-1 with "shit-canned."

As the man says, "Oh, smashing, groovy, yay capitalism!"
