I was kindly asked to talk at the upcoming Scottish ColdFusions User Group by its manager Andy Allan. There were a number of topics I thought about talking on but we finally came down to the one regarding CFML in a high volume production environment.

I'll be discussing the in's and out's of using CFML (aka BlueDragon) in high volume sites such as Blog-City and LinuxWorld. The sort of 'how we did it' sort of talk! Won't be giving away all our secrets, but will go over some of the tags specific to BlueDragon that allow us to unlock the power to the masses. Also be going over some of the things to look out for when running a multi-million page view site; scaling up doesn't come without its challenges!

So if you are in the Edinburgh area on the 25th November, stop by. Keep an eye on the site for more details.
