There is a proposal over at Eclipse
Wiki to provide a Eclipse bundle. The bundle will include some open source
plugins to make Eclipse more complete. :-) A windows installer will also be available
for it. Maybe a Linux installer too. Sounds like a nice idea. I had created a similar
bundle once for internal use in our company.
The plugins to be bundled are up for discussion at the wiki page. You can suggest
or vote for your favorite plugin there. There are also multiple versions proposed
like EclipsePlus Basic, EclipsePlus Java, EclipsePlus Web Development. It would be
nice if they can setup an update site too for this.
There is already a commercial Eclipse bundle from Yoxos.
