Spring is a lightweight framework
in Java which aims to simplify J2EE development. "Spring is potentially a one-stop
shop, addressing most infrastructure concerns of typical applications." Now following
most other popular Java stuff like Ant (NAnt), JUnit (NUnit)…
This also being ported to .Net. Sounds interesting. I was wanting to check out Spring
(the Java version) for sometime now. Now this is double the incentive to check
it out. :-)
I shouldn't need to say this, because religious disputes about platforms are plain
silly, but rest assured that:
- This will not distract from the focus on Spring J2EE
- No sale of souls is involved
I hope a time comes when people do not have to put such disclaimers in their announcements.
