There is a nice trick to make things easy in adding multiple natures to a Dynamic Web project such as Spring and JBossTools JSF Capabilities natures. Start out with your web.xml blank except for the the header and the web-app beg and end tags. Add all the natures to the project and than you can add web.xml entries one at a time to test for validity.
