The Jackess Java library for reading and writing MS Access databases project has released version 1.1.7. "The DataType class was refactored and a lot of "custom" data type code was cleaned up. Sanity checking on table creation was added to check column/table properties for validity. Index reading/writing of text columns was cleaned up and support for more characters was added. "Overflow" row reading was implemented. Multi-page long value reading is now allowed and multi-page long value writing was implemented. Decimal data type writing was fixed. Support for opening files as read-only was added."
