If you have wronged a Hacker and are wondering how to apologize to a Hacker, than follow these simple rules(Hacker in this meaning of the term means developer not the press maligned term):

1. Stop the bad business practices, bad employment practices, and pay the debt owed fro his or her developer labors.

2. Do not say you are sorry if you caused..make an honest apology instead.

3. Developers love to help solve problems. Ask for help in apologize and professional business manner after the full apology. Begging might help and lets you know how much repair work you have to complete in the relationship.
