On wednesday at 2 pm UPS picked up my defect Macbook Pro to ship it to the UK (i live in germany) and guess what? I received it back this morning (Friday). This turnaround time is so incredible, i cant believe it. I used the "direct" Apple support way without going through a retailer or something. I must say that with such responsiveness, one can forget about some problems before with the MBP. Unfortunately i alreay bought a Mac Mini because i thought it will take a week at least. But owning a Mac Mini is not bad either. I will use it as media center kind of thing and for emergency cases with my MBP, which hopefully wont happen anytime soon.
