Is it just me, or do the java.net blogs seem like a wasteland in terms of reader comments? I mean, we're talking about some of the most prestigious Java workers here, and most get less than a fraction of the comments that the BileBlog gets on a bad day.

Is there some reason for this? All I know is that I once posted a comment regarding a blog entry by Bill Day, and my post showed up exactly 4 days later - not exactly a way to build any active two way dialog.

Perhaps the censors (a.k.a. "moderators") should ease up on their gatekeeper routine? Either that, or get Hani to do some guest blog.
