I should have the The J2ME Platform on SymbianOS article of the J2ME wikibook finished today along with other articles. You will be able to use the information in the J2ME on SymbianOS to determine what optional APIs you access on the symbian devcies you are targeting with your application development. I fully expect the articles on the consumer device infrastructure to be completed in the next few days.
