Inspired by Hanis Bileblog and the ranting about Joshua Bloch, here is my Top5 Java Books list:

1. Java in a Nutshell (David Flannagan - OReilly)
2. Effective Java (Joshua Bloch - Addison Wesley)
3. Core J2EE Patterns (Sun Press / Prentice Hall)
4. Java Servlet Programming, 2nd Edition (Jason Hunter - OReilly)
5. Java Data Objects (Jordan, Russel - OReilly)

The last book is not outstanding on itself but i love the concept of JDO as better alternative to Entity Beans.
