hi dudes,

I want help on how we can perform top down parsing, i had a grammer, in java. Can any body help me over this.

One of the very frst thing you will need to do is an SQL validation, hence you need regular expression : http://www.javaregex.com/

JDK 1.4 comes also with some internal Regular Expression API's. You probably are better off looking in what they can do & what they are good at ...
