I have a JTextPane in my code. I want to make that TextPane as overwrite mode, not as insert mode. Please let me know how to do that?

By heart, I would say that you just need to deal with a Document of your own ! See the interface & provide you own implementation of one !

I think there is a few questionin that sens either here or on http://www.jguru.com look at the swing forum
