Summary
My head was stuffed with things Ruby, and it exploded... All over the web. Bits everywhere. I just couldn't stop writing until I got it all out of my system.

Here are the results of my writing spree:

• Installing Ruby (Linux info added by John Gabriele)
• Installing Ruby Gems (makes it easy to add and update extensions)
• Adding Ruby Extensions (installation script for the gems I use)
• Which GUI Language to Use? (FxRuby vs. WxRuby)
  (opinions will no doubt differ. This is my initial view)
