Objects and Java is a tutorial of Java programming (currently being written) that eventually will serve as the text for my five-day Objects and Java Seminar.
Objects and Java covers the Java language and many APIs as well as topics required for successful use of the language and APIs, especially object-oriented techniques and multi-threading. Follow the link below to view the book's table of contents. From the table of contents, you can follow links to the actual material of the book, which I am posting to this site as I write it.
Objects and Java: Building Object-Oriented, Multi-Threaded Applications with Java
The material of this book is in a rather rough form as yet, and several chapters are completely missing. This writing project is on the back burner as I work to complete Interface Design, my book of object-oriented Java API design guidlines. Eventually, I hope to turn this into a tutorial that focuses on how to do object-oriented, multi-threaded design and programming with the Java language. It will assume no prior experience with Java or object-oriented programming.
