client lease in jini

Hey! Folks.
I have question for you.
In jini ,after service make registration and get a lease,a client access this service ; when service's lease expired,the service that client accessed didn't finished ,should the client release the service only because the service's lease expired? What is the role that lookup service performed in this situation.

Does client need to get a lease to access some services also ? or lookup service need to do some menager job like schaduling or mutual exclution?
