java.net.SocketException while starting lookup

This is what I get when I try to run RMI, WWW server and lookup on my home computer rmid -J-Dsun.rmi.activation.execPolicy=none
Web server startup...

I have the same configuration (JDK 1.3, JINI 1.1 and Linux/Windows) for work and home but it fails.. Any help ?
