Problem with restarting the rmid service

hi,

i started rmid activation, added reggie service, was also able to add my own service to it. but when tried to restart rmid it throws the exception as below

rmid: unable to restart service
rmid: exception occurred: timeout creating child process
java.rmi.ActivationException: timeout creating child process
