Jini services across firewalls

I could not find much information about this either. It seems that Jini isn't really supported across FW or NAT devices. Unlike FTP all traffic is encrypted preventing any FW/NAT device to figure out wich outbound port will be used... I don't know If it's possible to force JINI to use a set outbound port.

Firewall prevents the access between them.Please let me know if anyone has solved the problem of enabling jii services across firewalls.
