Invalid Session

Hello everyone,
I have got a very strange problem.I have some piece of code which works perfectly fine with IE5.but the same code is not working with IE5.5.when i try to login it says IllegalStateException: Invalid Session. but if there is any problem with the code it should'nt work with IE5 but it is working fine and online transactions are going on.This problem is croping up only with IE5.5.any suggestions or solutions !!!
