Java I/O: writing to a file

HI there,

I have a doubt. it might seem silly but i am not able to do this. while i write to a file the output using DataOutputStream, i get the whole output in the same line. i want to print each of them in new lines. i am not able to use
"\n" or println (obviously println would not work) i need something that works like println.
