What jdbc driver are u using?
Is the Oracle database up-and-running?

> I have jdk 1.2.2 & oracle8i personal edition, windows98, I can access database with MS Access but when tried with all the examples of Oracle connectivity with JDBC i can not. All the std. examples of loading oracle driver is done perfectly. But while getting the connection, at that time it gives an error message that java.sqlException occured & network connection can not be done. Pls say what to do. I am new to Oracle.
