How to complie and run java servlet (in windows 2000)

I am using jdk1.3.1 and jsdk2.1
to develop servlets .
i havae installed above software im my computer at

c:\jdk1.3.1
c:\jsdk2.1

Then How can i compile and run the servlet.
Would u please tell me hot to set path and etc.
I am using window2000
