don't know where the prop file is...

i am very new to all this......and i am using j2ee server. I am not able to figure out which is the property file.....i could not find it in the manual....thats why i am trying this round about way.....There is one file called config\default.properties but it contains all junk chars interspersed with some reference to drivers and connections....could not make the head or tail of it....if u had used j2ee server u could help me....
