> I am currently trying to display a text string I have placed in a MYSQL table using JSP and Tomcat. I am having a few problems though. The connection is fine and when it is displayed the string is displaying goobldy gook like this - [B@80dd124 > Yet when I change the database from a text string to a varchar or char string it displays fine. I want to use the text string as others will be inputing data in. Any ideas as to why this might be happening? Can someone please help me? > Thanks
