parallel port interfacing , projects

thereare around eight ports on my machine; in that 2 are 25 pin parallel ports; they are already connected to scanner and other devices ; and there is 25 pin parallel port on my scanner; i want to use that port for communicating with external world devices; is it possible; if so how to find the port address;
