Dear Sir,
I have following queries

How can i open a new html page in a new browser window from an java applet ?"

I have an applet in which there is a socket which connect to a url at a perticular port .I can run that applet using visual java as my IDE (microsoft vj++) but when i tried that applet directly in a browser it gave security exception. Why ? And what does vj++ does to that program so that it works fine ?
