Thanks, but can I determine the browser used since I have to use a seperate tag for IE and for Netscape? > Hi > All your J... controls in applet will work just as they work in a java application. The only thing you have to remember is that you must use OBJECT tag for IE and EMBED tag for netscape to display the applet in browser. If you use old applet tag then J.. controls won't be displayed. It is so because only java v1.1 is supported in IE ( I don't know about netscape) and J... controls are in java v1.2 onwards.
