But don't all read methods return the value as a string? Also, could you not just check to see if the value is numerical or not?If you still need help, maybe you could provide some sample code, or a specific example (ie, what exactly do you want to do), so that we can get a clearer picture. Thanks > Is there a way one could check whether a value in a text file is a String or an Integer?????? > ex: is this possible ??
