> It is junk for you not for Java. You are using ObjectOutputStream, so Java has to do a lot of work and it has to store all information about the class and the state of the object. Therefore , the so called junk for you is a useful thing for Java which is required when you read back the string using ObjectInputString. If you don't want to see that junk then please use output stream which wtires simple text.
