A Pop Up in Applet - Beginner Question

How do I quickly built a confirmation message pop up which can be called by A button press on an Applet!! Basically the pop up has to show a message like "Do you want to Continue or Not". The pop should also contain two buttons "Yes" and "No". Pressing these buttons should give me an event. I am working on jdk 1.1
