Hello, I have a similar problem like you. I have had (I still have them)some good books in my hands, for instance: JAVA how to program "Deitel&Deitel", Thinking in Java or Just Java. They are all very good. But if you have non or very little programming experience, the best, really best book I found to learn OOP with Java is "An Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming with JAVA" 2nd Edition from C. Thomas Wu. It is a fantastic book! It is the first book I have in which there is no comparation with C++, it is also the first book that it does NOT starts with a "Hello World" program and it is the first book that it teaches you OOP from the beginning until the end. I love this book and I recommend it to everybody! Mario. Replies:
