Sending a pdf file from a JSP

If I click a url for a pdf file, the webserver sends me the pdf document which the browser displays.

Can I acheive the same using a JSP.

Something like this
A request comes to servlet which is a controller sevlet. It passes the control to one of the beans. The bean does some processing and returns the result to JSP. Now the JSP has to display some results (in one frame) and an pdf file in another frame.
