I just downloaded the version 11 update to Programming in Scala, 1st Edition. Previously, I had purchased version 6. I wanted to see what some of the differences were between versions, so I began comparing them side-by-side (since I don't have a tool to do that automatically with PDFs), and I discovered there were about 15 pages removed early in the Table of Contents and Overview, so that chapter 1 (A Scalable Language) begins on page 39 in version 6, and on page 23 in version 11. The problem is, version 6 is right, and version 11 is not. As a matter of fact, version 6's Table of Contents and Overview would work fine for version 11, because it doesn't appear that any pages have been added or deleted.
Bill, it appears that your reply to my post has disappeared. I did try downloading again, and the problem still exists. Additionally, the Glossary and Index links at the bottom of each page jump to the Cover -- as if the target pages did not exist.
Yes, that's because I realized I had misunderstood your post. There is a problem with the page numbers in V11. They are off by the number of pages in the Table of Contents. The links all work fine, but the numbers are off. The problem was in the way I did the build. I just deployed a V12 that has no changes other than the version number and fixing this problem. If you download now, you'll get V12 and that should have the problem fixed. Thanks for reporting this.
