The book "Programming in Scala" is so well-written, I love it! It explains Scala so clearly, it's a great book. I can see that the authors are experienced educators by the way they explain complex topics step by step.

I did find one small error, on page 404:

"Because the element ... (and is therefore a subtype of) Ordered[People] ..."

This should have been: Ordered[Person].

Here's another one not covered in the official errata page at

I'm not sure why there is a errata page if it's not kept up to date and thus of no use.
